Located just outside Louisville, KY, the $200 engine was a complete 1966 352 out of a Ford F100. It had a two-barrel intake with an Autolite carburetor. When Brent pulled the valve covers off he noticed the engine looked really good. He dropped the pan and checked out the bottom end and it was good there too.

67 was just the last year for the 352 in the f trucks. it was used in all the trucks from the 60's till then. it shares the same block as the 360, 390 ,410 and i think the 428. it is a good motor and can be made better with a 390 kit if you want more power. if you just want to rebuild as a driver its fine like it is. Jun 01, 2022 #12. Put a 390 crank/rods/in it and take the block to 4.050 and you would use standard 390 pistons. All machine work is necessary. Block bored/honed with torque plates, decks squared up, mains align honed. You can use Edelbrock heads on a 352 bore and especially on a 390 bore.

A stock 6G is good for about 13.4-13.6 volts at the OBD plug. Something around 13.6-13.8 at the batteries. The DC Power or a poor-man's 3G swap is good for 14.2+ volts at the batteries and around 13.8 at the OBD port. It's a dumb concept, but the alternator isn't commanded to begin charging sometimes after starting.

The Ford FE engine is a Ford V8 engine used in vehicles sold in the North American market between 1958 and 1976. The FE was introduced to replace the short-lived (in the USA) Ford Y-block engine, which American cars and trucks were outgrowing.

Traditional FE engines use a 3/8-inch cup at the rocker end, which is different than other engines. Be sure to specify that when ordering. Every engine combination is a little different, but common pushrod lengths run between 8.900 and 9.100 inches on roller cams, and between 9.100 and 9.350 inches on flat tappets.
