Eaton Hall, Cheshire Historical Description Eaton Hall, the seat of the Duke of Westminster, in Eaton township, Eccleston parish, Cheshire, 3 miles S of Chester. The Hall was erected in the 17th century by Vanbrugh, rebuilt in 1818 by Porden in the Gothic style, and has been again almost entirely rebuilt by Waterhouse, 1876-83.
