Superior Prowler Armor + Prowler Coat/Leg. Armor: 21 Leather Utility: 17 Leather Defense: 5 Metal + 12 Leather + 4 Cloth Prowler set is just superior in every way. You could argue that Stone Stalker Coat has a tiny bit more melee/magic defense, but if you use Stealth properly to remove agro, you shouldn't be attacked in the first place.

I simply can not handle the apprentice coat, apprentice mail, keeper robes, and superior battlemage coat/mail. (not to mention the atrocity that is 'enchanter coat/mail) In a game full of hideous armor, there MUST be one that is stylish. I, of course, have the base game, and the DLC Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser. I'm a Female Elf Mage, level 19.

I saw what somebody else did, tried it and it worked in just a few attempts. After getting short list perk, go to Hissing Wastes Merchant. Go back to Skyhold, save, exit and quit the game. Start up again and repeat. Unlike the first method I used, every time I saw a different special item/schematic.
