Posted: Wed 02 May, 2012 12:25 pm: Ive had same thing with my 207 1.4 petrol only mine started after the brake pads were changed (common prob apparently) I thought just sensors but its not have been told by pug tech that its the abs ecu not the pump thats gone - just so you know its located under left light underneath the bumper so you have to take plastic off to get at it wonderful location not!

Yesterday when I was driving at 40MPH I suddenly got the parking brake faulty message and On the dash board Auto parking off light, Orange triangle, ABS and ESP lights came up. Stopped the car, switched off and on still getting the same errors.

She complained the brakes seemed somewhat unresponsive on motorway driving and when we stopped to park, the brakes failed completely although thankfully at low speed.
