Concerns about Chu King Hung (itcca) style I enrolled to what was advertised to me as "Traditional Yang style Tai Chi". Classes are only once a week so I've been hungry to find material to support my practicing at home. On my search I could hardly find any mentions of the head of the style, master Chu King Hung.

Chu King Hung long form by drago » Wed Dec 21, 2005 2:10 pm What do you mean for Chu King Hung long form? I saw him once in Oesterreich and he told, that in their form the Chi is maximal. Positions in their form is different from our form. The hands are higher and there are many moves with dantien. What do you mean about their form?

Master Chu King-hung was born 1945 in China and first came in contact with T'ai Chi Ch'uan early in his life. When his family moved to Hong Kong, as a 12 year old boy, he began an apprenticeship with Master Yang Shou-chung which would last for 26 years.

In Hong Kong he taught many students but only three three disciples: Ip Tai Tak, Chu Gin Soon and Chu King Hung. Chu King Hung. began his Tai Chi Chuan training at age nine with his neighbor, Mr. Lao. When his family moved to Hong Kong, he began his training with master Yang Shou Chung at age 12 and spent 26 years learning the complete.
