The Honda S800 Coupe Is a Tiny Bundle of Outrageous
This is a rare left-hand drive Honda S800 M Coupé, originally delivered to Honda Belgium. Originally the Honda S800 M was produced for export and was only sold in Japan as a roadster. This car has been restored in Japan, but both the exterior and interior remain fully original, the wheels are RSC replicas. It's a fantastic example that doesn't look like it's over 50 years old.

Honda's small two-seater roadster started as the S500 in 1963, and graduated to the S600 in 1964, then to the S800 (also available as a fastback coupe) in 1966. Like the N600, the S800 was strongly derived from British sports car designs of the era. Both coupe and roadster are very good-looking cars. Engine power came courtesy of a 791cc.

This year, I was drawn more to the Honda display due to the variety and specifically because of a perfectly placed piece of history: A 1968 Honda S800 Coupe dubbed the "Outlaw.". Based off an original S800, one of the first production cars Honda made, producer and actor Daniel Wu built this custom piece of Honda history.

This 1966 Honda S800 coupe (chassis 1000239) is an early model incorporating the independent swing arm, chain drive rear end of the previous S600 but with a larger engine and other detail changes. The seller says only 242 were built in this configuration, making this car the third from last made until production changed over to the solid rear.
